Platipus Records are best known as the premier trance label in the UK, responsible for some of the greatest dance music of the last decade. Currently releasing more mix albums than singles, Platipus is looking to reinvent itself once again with its diverse selection of compilations. Platipus forged a new path in 2006 with the “Art of Chill” series, which is now on its 4th volume. Albums have been compiled and mixed by Altitude, Jon Hopkins, System 7 and Alex Paterson from The Orb. The “Addicted” series has released mixes from Luke Chable and Kosmos Epsilon, as well as Brazilian wunderkind Gui Boratto. With other new exciting mix albums to come this label has become a one stop shop for quality chill and electronica.
