*NEW FOUND GLORY are back with a once in a lifetime double disc collaboration with their alter-egos INTERNATIONAL SUPERHEREOS OF HARDCORE!! A band that should not need an introduction (after five full-length albums on Universal/Geffen) and Boston's premier hardcore punk label, Bridge Nine Records/Stomp, team up for a unique release that is sure to generate excitement and raise a few eyebrows. To some, it may seem like an unlikely partnership. To Bridge Nine and New Found Glory, it makes perfect sense. *Disc 1, featuring three New Found Glory originals and three cover songs, is a release that shows an inspired band having fun making a record for themselves and their supporters. The Tip Of The Iceberg EP pays tribute to the bands and the people who inspired New Found Glory throughout their career as they reached their success over the last decade as the band rose from anonymity to releasing three gold albums and becoming a household name in the process. Disc 2 in this unique package is the full-length album by INTERNATIONAL SUPERHEROES OF HARDCORE titled Takin' It Ova! ISHC is all five members of NEW FOUND GLORY playing new roles as hardcore musician superheroes with guitarist Chad Gilbert taking over the mic and NFG vocalist Jordan Pudnik replacing Gilbert on guitar. Musically finding itself somewhere between early recordings of SICK OF IT ALL, YOUTH OF TODAY, and JUDGE, Takin' It Ova! shows a side to the band that people might not have known existed.
